Hello Folks,
Tim and I are in Lund, Sweden and preparing for our upcoming shows in the UK! We are soo loking forward to it. This is Tim’s first time ever outside North America, so he is taking it all in….
The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and all the flowers are blooming….summer is in Sweden.
April has been a great month so far. I played a few shows with Awna from Po’Girl in Toronto and Peterborough, and that was really fun. Lovely folks in Peterborough! : )
Then I flew a bumpy ride all the way to Copenhagen where I met up with my good friends the Sentimentals. They packed me in their van and we drove around Denmark and played 9 shows. I had never seen much of Denmark before, and I loved it! The Sentimentals are such lovely people, and it was great to play with them!
I felt really pro because I now have a credit card swiper machine….haha
Then Tim came over, and we played a show in Angelholm, at a place that I had played last year too: Morris. It is the coziest place with red curtains and cozy chairs and mood lights, and it was so nice to play with Tim again and see some familiar faces. After the show, there was all of a sudden a smoke machine and a room full of loud euro- disco music and hundreds of people dancing so we made our way home! However, there must have been something strange in the air, because that night Tim broke his pedal and his camera, and I scratched the car! Crazy day!! But a great show! I am happy to say though that Tim’s camera works again after he threw it on the cobblestone a second time! weird.
Now I am going to go out in the sun!
