About STORMS
Over the past year or so I have been working on songs for a new record. I now have 10 songs that I am starting to record next week in Vancouver. I am very excited to start the process of giving these songs real life.
In the words of the late and great artist Louise Bourgeois: art is about ideals and emotions.
That is what I am expressing on this record: my ideals and my emotions. These are songs that reflect on childhood, growing up, running away, standing up, LIVING.., friendship, searching, disappointments. They are songs that are written from deep in my heart about ideals in life that I really believe in. About being strong and fearless in the middle of the storms that are constantly going on around us and inside us. About that giant we all have deep inside us all even when we feel like midgets. About trying to be real in an overwhelmingly fake world.
What will you get if you pre-order the album?
-You will get a limited edition signed copy of the physical album.
- A copy of the Windmill Session: A live recording session that lapsteel player Tim Tweedale and I did in a windmill in Norfolk, England.
- You will get all this much earlier than will be released.
- My eternal gratefulness for helping me getting this album recorded. It costs a lot of money to make an album, and , as most other artists, I don’t have a lot of it.
